On March 13th I was sent home from work because the office was shutting down, due to the coronovirus pandemic.
A week later the UK lockdown began and all non-essential travel stopped (or at least, was supposed to stop). The CMC shut all its sites until 30th June at the earliest. Although I had considered self-isolating somewhere in the van, thankfully I didn't try as tourist areas soon pleaded for people to stay away, and eventually resorted to roadblocks.
Trips cancelled so far:
- Deepdale Hygge (credit carried forward)
- Gate to Southwell (free entry anyway)
- Bridlington visit
- Folk on the Farm (credit carried to 2021)
- Edinburgh Fringe
- Barmouth with Lou
Remaining - Deepdale Beltane.
But, to keep my spirits up, I always have this happy song (thanks Simon P!)
