Been there done that

Here's where I went, in case you want to use the same sites:

2014

May
Hollins Hall Farm, Killinghall
Rain, rain, thunder, more rain. Forgot my bedding, tin opener and boots. Nice quiet location but very smelly as Bank Holiday weekend is 'douse the fields in poo' time in Yorkshire it seems.

http://www.availablepitch.com/cgi-bin/AVpitchnew/main.pl?option=search_site&context=display&site=466

June
Mr Moo's, Skipsea
Rain, sun, sun, rain. Got it right this time, apart from leaving the waste open - oops. Good loos/showers, hookup and cafe.

http://www.mrmoos.co.uk/caravan_site.html

July
Hebden Bridge CC
Good for transport, no toilets, lovely wardens.

http://www.caravanclub.co.uk/caravanclubapps/applications/uk-caravan-sites-and-parks/SiteDetails.aspx?csid=21929

August
Teesdale Barnard Castle CC
Walking distance to town, but all hard standing so couldn't use awning. Washing up room/drying room.

http://www.caravanclub.co.uk/caravanclubapps/applications/uk-caravan-sites-and-parks/SiteDetails.aspx?csid=341316

October
Keen Ground Farm
EHU but that's about it. You can walk to Hawkeshead in 10 mins. I couldn't see the bus stop they mention.

http://www.caravanclub.co.uk/uk-holidays/search-and-book/certificated-locations/site-detail/?Id=25988

November
Wharfedale CC
This is in Threshfield, fully kitted as you would expect, one pub within walking distance, on a nearby holiday home park. Very busy at all times.

http://www.caravanclub.co.uk/caravanclubapps/applications/uk-caravan-sites-and-parks/SiteDetails.aspx?csid=22011

2015

February
Horse and Jockey, Church Stoke
Not worth travelling to, but useful to know about if you are in the area.

http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/details.asp?revid=10711

April
Beadlam Grange, nr Helmsley
Site with EHU but no toilet block - the tearoom and farm shop are the main reasons to come here.

http://beadlamgrange.co.uk/bg_caravan.htm

June
See Outer Hebrides

October
Kendal CC
South of the Lakes, this is not like most barren Caravan Club sites, river, trees, birds, wildflowers (aka weeds) abound. All mod cons and near the M6. Will probably go there again.

http://www.caravanclub.co.uk/caravanclubapps/applications/uk-caravan-sites-and-parks/SiteDetails.aspx?csid=21928

November
Hawes CC
Excellent location, good site facilities as per CC. 5 mins walk in to the village. Another one to revisit.

http://www.caravanclub.co.uk/caravanclubapps/applications/uk-caravan-sites-and-parks/SiteDetails.aspx?csid=21840

2016

January
The Hawthorns, Pickering
Hmmm.... a CL 15 mins walk from the nice bustling town of Pickering but not much else to recommend it. Check if you are being put on the field - it looked very sloping to me.

http://www.caravanclub.co.uk/uk-holidays/search-and-book/certificated-locations/site-detail/?Id=27811&town=Pickering&county=27697&facilities=

February
Park House, Jervaulx
Lovely CL pretty much in the middle of nowhere. In theory you can walk to a pub but I never found the path. 2 loos are the sole facilities but a seasonal tea room looked good (closed when I was there). 6 miles north of Masham.

http://www.caravanclub.co.uk/uk-holidays/search-and-book/certificated-locations/site-detail/?Id=27786

April
Kingsbury Water Park C&CC
Big, mixed site with full facilities. Handy for a stop-over in the Midlands but I wouldn't go out of my way.

http://www.campingandcaravanningclub.co.uk/campsites/uk/westmidlands/suttoncoldfield/kingsburywaterpark

May
Dockray Meadows CC
A good find - a CC club (but no toilets), in a quiet part of the Western Lakes and a shop across the road.

http://www.caravanclub.co.uk/caravanclubapps/applications/uk-caravan-sites-and-parks/SiteDetails.aspx?csid=21868

June
See Wales

July
Abbot's House, Goathland
Hookup in the yard, plus a cowshed of a toilet block. Most of the site is large grass fields. Can walk to the station. Dreadful access road, and that would put me off going again.

http://abbotshouse.org.uk/

August
Richmond Hargill House CC.
A bit exposed and noisy near the A66 so probably won't bother again.

http://www.caravanclub.co.uk/caravanclubapps/applications/uk-caravan-sites-and-parks/SiteDetails.aspx?csid=21901

September
See Belgium to Germany

https://www.caravanclub.co.uk/certificated-locations/england/north-yorkshire/york/willow-house/

http://riversidepateleybridge.co.uk/

August
Grouse and Claret, nr Matlock

https://www.caravanclub.co.uk/certificated-locations/wales/pembrokeshire/tenby/heath-cottage/

Frodesley Grange Farm, CCC

https://www.campingandcaravanningclub.co.uk/campsites/uk/shropshire/shrewsbury/frodesleygrangefarm/

September
